With over 15 years in the hospitality industry, my journey began behind a coffee bar, but it didn’t take long for me to transition into the world of craft cocktails. While working as a barista at a hotel, I was introduced to bartending due to staffing shortages. Seeing the opportunity—both financially and creatively—I quickly embraced the role, igniting my passion for the art of mixology.

Motivated by my growing interest, I pursued Hospitality Management in college, but as I picked up a second bartending job, I found myself fully immersed in the fast-paced, dynamic world of nightlife and service. I realized that bartending wasn’t just a job—it was a lifestyle filled with creativity, entertainment, and connection.

Over the years, I refined my craft, working in different environments, learning the nuances of flavors, and understanding the true value of hospitality. However, I also realized something deeper—I had been boxing myself in, viewing myself as “just a bartender” rather than recognizing my worth and the unique skill set I had cultivated.

This moment of self-discovery led me to create Craft-Tails—a business dedicated to curating exceptional cocktail experiences through mixology classes, personalized bar menus, and professional bartending services. I wanted to build something that wasn’t just about making drinks but about bringing people together, celebrating creativity, and turning ordinary moments into unforgettable experiences—one glass at a time.
